A Mini Homeware Haul From Homesense In Thurmaston, Leicester

Last week, I was kindly invited to help promote the very exciting opening of Homesense, part of the TK Maxx family, in Thurmaston Shopping Centre, Leicester. For the full behind the scenes peeks, including videos, head over to my Instagram stories to take a look. I would highly encourage any homeware lover to visit Homesense as soon as you can. There were literally hundreds of customers queuing up outside on the opening morning! However they do have weekly shipments of all the best homeware pieces with up to 60% off RRP.

From gourmet cookware, to furniture, lighting and decorative items, to bedding and bathroom accessories, along with gifts, seasonal décor and more, there are so many things to choose from. You’ll be able to pick up all of those things you’ve been lusting after on Pinterest or Instagram, and turn your house into your very own dream home, for less! Here are a few of the things I picked up to add a little Autumn feels into my home…

Star sign tea towels!

How beautiful are these tea towels? Not only are they thick and super absorbent but they have THE most adorable astrology/star sign print all over.

Halloween Treats

The time around Halloween is most certainly one of my favourites. I love the crisp cold weather, snuggling in blankets, hot chocolate and the cosy nights in watching films. I also really quite like Halloween itself. If you’re wanting to deck your house out with Halloween accessories and goodies, then Homesense really is the place to shop. Not only do they have an entire range of Halloween inspired homeware pieces, but they have Halloween goodies too like these cute cookie packets!

Autumn Candles

Who doesn’t love a good candle? My preferred candle scent changes with the seasons. In Spring and Summer I quite like a tropical, coconut or floral smell, and in Autumn and Winter everything goes a bit deeper and spicier. I picked up these fabulous two candles from Homesense and they were both under £10 which is an absolute bargain considering the size of the candles, and the sweet packaging that you can keep long after the candle has burnt out. The squirrel candle is ‘Creamy Cashew’ and it is wonderfully sweet and nutty. The pumpkin one is of course, ‘Pumpkin Spice’. Now I am not a huge coffee lover so I have never ever had a Pumpkin Spice latte, but if they taste as good as this candle smells then I am seriously missing out.

Colour Scheme Candles

I know, I know, more candles, but serious Homesense have an entire section dedicated to candles in all different colours!! I picked up some candles that matched my grey, white and mustard colour scheme. All of these candles are Autumnal scented, from ‘Autumn Embers’ to ‘Pumpkin Spice’ and more. I am absolutely in love with the Sand+Fog candles too, with their clean designs and intricate detailing on the lid.
